Award is the highest national sports
award or sports awards and
people consider it as the sporting honor because it is only for those who are
best in their respective sports however; the meaning of Khel Ratna Award is the
Sports gem and it named after the name of our ex-PM Rajiv Gandhi to give him
honor. In the list of most honored sports award is Arjuna Award which is
exclusively for the best sportsperson in each sport and it is named after Arjuna
of Mahabharata and in the same way the Dronacharya Award is named after
the Dronacharya, the guru of Arjuna and Dronacharya
Award is for those who are training the players and they also known as the
sports coaches.
The other most honored sports award is Dhyan Chand sports ward
and it named after the Major Dhyan Chand, the legeand of Indian Hockey team and
he helped the Indian hockey team of win the Olympic gold medals in the year,
1928, 1932 and 1936 and he was also received the Padma Bhushan in 1956 for
excellent performance and contribution in the field of sports. Dhyan Chand
sports ward is the lifetime achievement sports award. Apart from that there are

deserving players can get for their performance and contribution in the field of
